Bingo Looks To Get a Boost in the UK

Show Your Support and Bag a Bingo

Launched on Monday, 13th January, The Boost Bingo campaign includes hundreds of participating bingo clubs across Britain. These venues will offer free Boost Bingo link games on the 17th, 18th and 19th January in support of tax reforms for one of the UK’s most beloved games.

Current tax rates for Bingo venues rest at 20%, while tax rates for other gambling activities in the UK are held at 15%. The Boost Bingo campaign aims to lower the current Bingo tax rate and instate a flat rate for all gambling activities across the country.

The tax reform will pave the way for expansion, innovation, jobs and more robust bingo communities in the UK.

Where and When

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will each host two events over the course of the day. Players all over the country can visit their local participating bingo club to enjoy in free link games by using special Boost Bingo tickets.

The reverse of each ticket will contain information about the campaign and its goals and tickets may even be used to add the participant’s name to the national petition. Showing support for the Boost Bingo campaign and Bingo tax reform is the best way to ensure the reforms are a success.

Contributing £200 million in annual tax revenue and employing over 12,500 people, bingo is no slouch when it comes to gaming. Nearly 400 licensed bingo clubs across the country will be participating in the Boost Bingo Campaign.
