The two Grammy award winning performers will be on their way to Vegas this summer after signing a contract to headline shows at Wynn Resorts Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub from May to September.
The two will kick off their five month stint at Surrender 25th May before jumping over to the Encore Beach Club July 4th and then heading back to surrender in 13th September. This weekend will feature an early preview of what is to come for those fans who just can’t wait until May.
While it may not be what a traditional residency entails, the two will perform apart as well in Vegas clubs during their tenure. Ryan Lewis will reportedly DJ several solo dates, beginning with an appearance at Surrender this Saturday and then going on to appear on 23rd May, 2nd July and 26th July.
Last weekend the duo won four Grammy’s, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Song for their hit track, Thrift Shop, off their album The Heist. Couple that with their newly signed agreements with Vegas hotspots and 2014 is looking like a good year for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
The group will join other Vegas notables including, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Britney Spears, Prince and Elton John.
