“Frank Marino’s Divas” has been a hit production in Vegas for years, now the show has moved to Sammy’s Showroom at the Harrah’s in Reno. Arguably the biggest drag show in the world, the production marries song, dance and comedy in a 90-minute show that lives up to its motto: “You won’t believe your eyes — these gals are really guys!”
One highlight of the revue are the celebrity impersonations with Pink, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Cher, Madonna and Diana Ross being represented center stage. Depicting 17 celebs in all, Marino has assembled the best of the best in terms of female celebrity impersonators.
The show’s star and producer Frank Marino MCs the event and dawns a new and fabulous outfit with every scene. The show is all about having a good time with performers who love what they do. To quote Marino, “we’re not trying to sell a lifestyle.”
Marino has been performing in Nevada for 30 years and is thrilled to take his show out of Vegas for the first time, having since been met with audience support at every show.
Sporting two stars on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame, Marino even has his own day in Vegas thanks to the Mayor Oscar Goodman’s decree that February 1st is “Frank Marino Day”.
