A fantastic 22-day festival of poker is being held at the Maryland Live! Casino from July 7 – 28.

This festival will consist of 19 events and has a massive $800,000 guaranteed up for grabs. The festival concludes with the $2,200 three day Main Event which has a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. There are plenty of opportunities to win a seat at the Main Event. The winners of Events 1, 4, 14 and 15 will each receive a seat and best of all the buy-in for Event 1 is just $300.

There are some great bonuses going on during the festival as well. The chip leader at the end of each of the three Day 1s in Event 1 will receive a bonus $1,000. The same is true of event 15 except that the bonus is $1,500. Chip leaders at the end of the Main Event’s two Day 1’s will receive a massive $5,000 bonus.

The vast majority of events are No-Limit Hold’em competitions with buy-ins ranging from $150 to $2,200 which means that there is something suitable for most budgets. Players looking for other forms of poker can take part in the $240 buy-in Limit Omaha 8/Stud 8 event starting July 14. There is also a $350 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha competition staring on July 16^th.
