Catterick Bridge Racecourse Afternoon Flat Racing

Catterick Bridge Racecourse is host to an afternoon of six flat races on Wednesday, 9th July.

Race 1:

Decisive Rebel came third in his last race at Musselburgh and is sure to be looking to build on this in the first race of the day. He may face competition from On Appro who has shown great promise finishing fourth in his last two races and is due a better result.

Race 2:

Rocket Ship has been running well, finishing second in his last three races at Kempton, Goodwood and Haydock and will be after his first ever win. Competition will come from Vodka Wells who has finished third in his last two races at Southwell and Carlisle.

Race 3:

Romantic Bliss has impressed in recent weeks with a win at Wolverhampton and three second place finishes. However, Outbacker will be trying to steal the win from her after finishing second in her last two races at Kempton and Southwell.

Race 4:

Maid In Rio has won her last three races at Newmarket, Ripon and Haydock and will be after her fourth consecutive win. However, there will be tough competition from Hot Spice who has won her last two races at Catterick and Redcar.

Race 5:

Heidi’s Delight will be after her second win of the season after winning last week at Southwell. She will face competition from Gaelic Wizard who also won his last race at Southwell. Both their victories and this race were run over the same distance.

Race 6:

Makin The Rules will be after his first win of the season after finishing third at Ripon and second at Pontefract last month. However, Royal Brace could take his second win of the season having won at Yarmouth last month and finishing third at Goodwood.
