Chepstow Racecourse Evening Flat Racing

Chepstow racecourse is hosting an afternoon of music followed by an evening of flat racing on Friday, 11th July.

Race 1:

Honourable Knight will be after his first win of the season after two recent third place finishes and a second place finish at Kempton. However, Petrify has been looking better in recent weeks and could pull off a good run.

Race 2:

After a win at Chepstow last month and a good run at Leicester earlier in the season, Fuwairt will be looking for another win today. However, Charlie’s Star has finished in the top three in all of his races, including a win at Yarmouth, and will be tough competition.

Race 3:

Dark Lane has won over this course and distance before and is sure to be after his second win of the season in race 3. Competition will come from Volcanic Dust who after finishing second at Chepstow last month is after her second win of the season.

Race 4:

Real Jazz will be after her first ever win in her first race of the season and could pull it off after showing great promise last year. However, Serena Grae impressed with her third place finish at Chepstow last month and will also be hoping for a win.

Race 5:

Zed Candy Girl won her last two races at Kempton and Bath and will be hoping for a third win in a row in race 5. Competition will come from Tenbridge who won at Chepstow last month and will be after yet another win.

Race 6:

Postscript will be after his first win of the season after finishing second at Haydock last month. However, Perfect Mission won last month at Salisbury and is sure to be hoping for a second win of the season.

Race 7:

Lady Crossmar won over this distance last season and will be after her first win of the year in the final race of the day. Competition will come from By Rights who won recently at Nottingham and will be after her second ever win.
