Lingfield Park Afternoon Flat Racing

Lingfield Park’s final afternoon flat racing fixture of the month will feature eight races and take place on Monday, 28th July.

Race 1:

Jargon won his last race which was at Brighton earlier this month and he is sure to be after his second consecutive win in the first race of the afternoon. However, Thecornishassassin also won his last race, which was at Lingfield earlier this month, and will definitely be after a win.

Race 2:

Bladewood Girl has had numerous top three finishes this season including a win at Kempton Park and will be after another. Competition could come from Silvala Dance who recently finished third at Lingfield and will be hoping for her first win.

Race 3:

After two second place finishes this season, at Lingfield and Southwell, Chapellerie is sure to be after her first win. Competition may come from Anginola who has been improving over recent months and recently finished third at Brighton.

Race 4:

Elegant Ophelia will be after her second win of the season having won at Lingfield earlier this month. However, Mr Lando finished second in his last two races, both at Kempton, and is sure to be hoping for his first win of the season.

Race 5:

Oasis Mirage has finished second in her last two races, at Thirsk and Yarmouth and will be hoping for her first ever win. Competition could come from Narborough who has enjoyed multiple top three finishes this season and will be after his first win.

Race 6:

Ifan has won two races this year, at Brighton and Wolverhampton, and finished second at both Lingfield and Yarmouth and is sure to be hoping for another win. Competition may come from Barwick who recently finished second at Epsom and won earlier this year at Newbury.

Race 7:

Novel Dancer will be hoping for his fourth win of the season having already secured victories at Kempton and Lingfield. Ogaritmo is likely to provide competition having managed numerous second place finishes this season, most recently at Bath.

Race 8:

The final race of the day will see With Hindsight chase his second victory of the season having won his last race at Lingfield Park. However, Abigails Angel has won over this course and distance before but is yet to win a race this season so is likely to provide stiff competition.
