Nottingham Racecourse Evening Flat Racing

Nottingham Racecourse is continuing its season with an evening of flat racing on Saturday, 5 July.

Race 1: 

Elizabeth Coffee has been running well recently with a second place finish at Bath and wins at Doncaster and Yarmouth. She will face competition from Indian Scout who recently finished second at Bath and third at Brighton and will be after his first win of the season in race 1.

Race 2:

Tower Power has been steadily improving all season with a third place finish at Lingfield, second at Nottingham and most recently first at Ripon and will be hoping for a second win. However, Mbhali has finished second in four races this season and will be after his first win.

Race 3:

Race 3 will see a number of newcomers take to the track. Denton Dawn has finished second in two of her three races and will be after a win. She’s a Worldie finished third in her only race which was at Musselburgh last week and will be providing competition.

Race 4:

Maoi Chinn Tire has had a good start to the season with two wins at Nottingham and a second place finish at Redcar. However, he will face competition from Katie Gale who won her final two races last year and opened this season with a win at Southwell last month.

Race 5:

Thecornishcowboy is having an excellent season and has won his last five races in a row. Trying to prevent him making it six will be Kindlelight Storm who has won his last four races albeit over shorter distances.

Race 6:

Maiden Approach has been running well recently finishing second at both Doncaster and Newcastle and will be after her first win of the season. However, Derbyshire won his first race of the season last month at Yarmouth and will be hoping to make it two in a row.

Race 7:

The final race of the day will see Polar Forest chase his third win of the year having finished in the top three in seven out of ten races this season. However, Global Leader will also be after his third win having won two in April and finishing second twice in June.
