It would be Ukraine and Poland represented in the ring during the bout in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at the Sands Casino Resort.

Undefeated heavyweight Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov made good use of heavy handed jabs and fearsome right counter-strikes to topple his more experienced opponent Tomasz Adamek in the ring.

The 2008 Olympic bronze medalist hailing from Ukraine towered over his opponent in the ring. This was the first experience for Glazkov making it passed the 10 round mark and, despite his inexperience, the 29-year-old, had no trouble dominating for the duration of the fight.

Adamek, the senior fighter of the match at 37-years-old, was by no means a pushover for the Ukrainian. Taking his licks in rounds 8 and 9, the native of Poland delivered fearsome blows late into the bout, leaving Clazkov with a bruised and swollen left eye. However, Adamek himself would not exit the ring unscathed. Bruised and bloodied, his right eye would swell shut before the bout’s finish.

In the end, Clazkov would receive a unanimous decision in his favor from the judges, with 117-110, 117-111, and 116-112 being the final tallies.
