On Tuesday Manchester City will travel to the Arena Khimki to play CSKA Moscow in their third game of the Champions League group stage.

The teams were drawn in the same group last year so have played each other twice before. Manchester City won both games, the first, which was also played at the Arena Khimki, they won 2 – 1 and the second 5 – 2.

The bookies expect Manchester City to win once again and as such are offering odds of 11/20 on a City victory. A Moscow victory has been set at 9/2 while a draw is at 57/20. Furthermore, there are odds of 11/2 on Manchester City winning the game 1 – 0.

Manchester City are currently third in Group E having lost 1 – 0 to Bayern Munich in their first game and drawn 1 – 1 with Roma in their second. CSKA Moscow is bottom of the group having lost 5 – 1 to Roma in their first game and 1 – 0 to Bayern Munich in their second.

A victory for Manchester City could see them climb to second in the group, depending on the outcome of Roma’s match with Bayern Munich. However, both City and Moscow are facing the prospect of failing to progress to the next round of the competition if the match ends in a draw.

Manchester City has a fully healthy squad with no players absent due to bans or injuries. CSKA Moscow is without Pontus Wernbloom and Alan Dzagoev due to bans and Rasmus Elm, Vitinho, Aleksandrs Cauna and Kirill Panchenko due to injuries.
