Son Heung-Min
This 21-year-old striker for Bayer Leverkusen will be representing his home South Korea. A force to be reckoned with inside the box, he is adaptable and fluid on the field. There will be a good deal of attention turned toward this forward and for good reason, too.
Diego Reyes
Another 21-year-old upstart has made his way to FC Porto, but during the World Cup will represent his home country, Mexico. Primarily a defender, Reyes is just as comfortable in a midfield position and has the chops to keep up the game the entire length of the field. Calculated and precise, he will be instrumental to Mexico’s defence.
Bernard
This aggressive midfielder is certainly a contender to make a World Cup headline or two. Currently playing winger for Ukranian club Shakhtar Donetsk, his addition to the host nation Brazil’s squad would bolster the side’s prospects. His stamina and explosive energy are invaluable assets to have, especially in late-game tournament play.
Paul Pogba
Midfielder for Juventus, this French World Cup hopeful is not without experience at the international level. Despite his tender age, the player is considered one of the best under-21 in the world. Despite a downturn in performance of late, Pogba could turn it all around come World Cup time if able to recapture his former quality.
