This Monday, 6th July, Serena and Venus Williams will play each other in the fourth round of Wimbledon on the Centre Court.
Unsurprisingly the sisters have come up against each other many times over the last few years; Serena has won 14 of the encounters while Venus has won the other 11. They most recently played each other in the semi-final of the Canadian Masters where Venus won 6-7(2) 6-2 6-3.
However, Serena is expected to win the upcoming match and at Winner Sports there are odds of 2/9 on her victory. Her sister is trailing someway behind with odds of 3/1. Furthermore, there are odds of 3/5 that Serena will win the match 2 sets to 0 while the next shortest odds are 11/4 on Serena winning the match 2 sets to 1.
At present Serena Williams is top of the world rankings with an impressive 11,291 points while second place Petra Kvitova has 6879 points. Venus Williams is a bit further down, sixteenth in the world with 2,586 points and is just below Timea Bacsinszky who has 2,605 points.
